My name is Jon and I have been an RN for over 30 years with experience in acute & primary care settings.
My clinical preference being community & residential aged care with keen interest in mental health & dementia.
Throughout my nursing career I have embraced adult learning principles fulfilling various preceptor & clinical facilitation roles.
This will be my 15th year as an educator with TAFE Queensland.
During this time I've also had the opportunity to gain experience as a sessional academic ( Tutor ) with ACU & QUT.
My preferred teaching areas include gerontology, ethics, diversity & research.
Inspired by ancient wisdom, I utilise a Socratic & Heuristic approach to engage learners on a process of self discovery.
Promoting deep thinking & critical anlysis, I'll guide you on a journey to discover the truth & knowledge that lies within.
In doing so develop an ability to think for yourself and cultivate a love for life long learning.
I charge $100 hourly rate.
